Thanks to all the open testing participants! Players can fully customize livery templates in-game and share them with others.
Financial System Adjustment
ReleasedFeb 2026
Operating costs now scale more smoothly for natural progression. Overall expected profit stays the same, but individual daily profits may change within a 10% range.
If your profit decreased, it will grow faster later. If it increased, it will grow slightly slower later.
Realism Mode
PlannedSummer 2026
The Airline Simulator aims to be a casual airline management simulation where players don't have to stress about financial optimization. However, there are many flight and aircraft mechanisms in real-world aviation worth implementing for more realistic gameplay.
Realism Mode will be a separate game mode with its own progression and resources, offering a fresh start with more realistic mechanics.
Key features:
- Aircraft range based on seating configuration
- Aircraft efficiency varies by flights operated
- Aircraft orders and scheduled deliveries
- Flight circuits (e.g., HND-ORD-NRT-SIN-HND)
- Block times for flights
Cargo Mode
PlannedLate 2026
A separate game mode for dedicated cargo airline operations, built on top of Realism Mode mechanics.
Key features:
- Independent airport limitations for cargo
- Cargo "classes" similar to passenger operations
- Flight circuits and payload-based range
- Configurable cargo loads per flight
Cross-Mode Progression
PlannedLate 2026
Extra subsidiary slots for new modes, with gradual resource transfers (weekly limits) letting you leverage existing progress while experiencing fresh challenges.
